| PIERSON — Clinton Larry Roach, 61, of Pine Street, died Feb. 5, 2008, at his home.Mr. Roach was a welder in the pipe-fitting industry. Born in Oakridge, Tenn., he moved to Pierson in 1978 from DeLand.He was a 1965 graduate of DeLand High School. Mr. Roach was a member of United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 295, and was an avid hunter, four-wheeler and mudder. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Roach, and one grandson, Clinton Trevor Roach. He is survived by his wife of 40-and-one-half years, Viola; one son, Clinton Travis Roach and his wife, Maxine, of Pierson; one daughter, Kim McCormick and her husband, Donnie, of DeLand; his mother, Lula Mae Roach of DeLeon Springs; two sisters, Donna Landall of Orlando and Sandra Chennault of DeLeon Springs; and two grandsons, Justin McCormick and Hayden McCormick. Allen-Summerhill was in charge. |
